1 - Refund Policy

  1. Refunds are not paid unless specifically required by the regulations of the Northern Territory Racing Commission.

2 - Definitions

  1. "BookieRing" shall mean BookieRing Pty Ltd and its successors and assigns.
  2. "Client" shall mean the Client or any person acting on behalf of and with the authority of the Client.
  3. "Bets" shall mean all bets or wagers placed with BookieRing by the client.
  4. "Betting Account" shall mean an account through which all of a Client’s bets are placed. Each Client will be issued with a Betting Account prior to Bets being accepted by BookieRing.

3 - Acceptance

  1. Any instructions received by BookieRing from the Client for the placing of Bets shall constitute acceptance of the terms and conditions contained herein.
  2. Upon acceptance of these terms and conditions by the Client the terms and conditions are irrevocable and can only be rescinded in accordance with these terms and conditions or with the written consent of the manager of BookieRing.
  3. None of BookieRing’s agents or representatives are authorised to make any representations, statements, conditions or agreements not expressed by the manager of BookieRing in writing nor is BookieRing bound by any such unauthorised statements.
  4. The Client undertakes to give BookieRing not less than fourteen (14) days prior written notice of any proposed change in the Client’s name and/or any other change in the Client’s details (including but not limited to, changes in the Client’s address, facsimile number, or telephone number).

5 - Payment

  1. Winnings will be credited to the Client’s Betting Account following confirmation of the final result. Should funds be credited to a Client's Betting Account in error, it is the Client's responsibility to notify BookieRing of the error without delay and the Client shall return to BookieRing any funds credited in error.
  2. Payment will be made by cheque, or by direct credit, or by any other method as agreed to between the Client and BookieRing.

6 - The Commonwealth Trade Practices Act 1974 and Fair Trading Acts

  1. Nothing in this agreement is intended to have the affect of contracting out of any applicable provisions of the Commonwealth Trade Practices Act 1974 or the Fair Trading Acts in each of the States and Territories of Australia, except to the extent permitted by those Acts where applicable.

7 - Access and Correction

  1. BookieRing may cancel these terms and conditions or cancel delivery of Bets at any time before the Bets are delivered by giving written notice. BookieRing shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever arising from such cancellation.

8 - Privacy Act 1988

  1. The Client agrees that Personal Data provided may be used and retained by BookieRing for the following purposes and for other purposes as shall be agreed between the Client and BookieRing or required by law from time to time:
    1. provision of Betting Accounts;
    2. marketing of Betting Accounts by BookieRing, its agents or distributors in relation to the Betting Accounts;
    3. analysing, verifying and/or checking the Client’s details, payment and/or status in relation to provision of Betting Accounts;
    4. processing of any payment instructions or direct debit facilities requested by Client; and
    5. enabling the daily operation of Client’s account and/or the collection of amounts outstanding in the Client’s account in relation to the Betting Accounts.
  2. BookieRing may give, information about the Client to a credit reporting agency for the following purposes:
    1. (a) to obtain a consumer credit report about the Client; and or
    2. (b) allow the credit reporting agency to create or maintain a credit information file containing information about the Client.
